Not yet.

An insightful comment from a friend: "Have u noticed one thing abt this great [Indian] eco boom? ...B2B space is doing v v good ...but B2C is nothing much at all happening."

Think about it.

do these fancy acronyms actually translate into something meaningful? i know what they expand to but just seemlike random buzzwords :-). measuring success/failures in terms of buzzword potential seems to be very dangerous.

Nice(r) try: Agreed that buzzwords rock and all. But this time, I hadnt meant them to be buzzwords. :)

The point is the Indian eco boom is currently more on the B2B side - like IT services, office retail space etc. The growth of B2C sectors - like FMCG products - may be driven by a rise in the disposable income of the masses. But the relation to B2B growth and prosperity of the masses is limited - at best, due to the trickle effect.

There are greater network effects in B2B methinks...And the dotted lines of what's possible between those who serve one poor consumer are maddening...I sold servers to corporate bankers who sold fin products to those who handled logistics for those who sold servers to corporate bankers...ad infinitum...

This of course could be true of anything in life, but in a pure B2C space I think some paper might be visible, between those connectors..in pure B2B, if we're looking at possibility, not a chance...
